Interstate 10 in San Gorgonio Pass to Interstate 15 near Cajon Pass

Section C begins just North of where the PCT crosses under Interstate 10 in San Gorgonio Pass at 1190 feet. The first point of interest on the trail is the “Pink Motel” (use link below for more info). The trail heads predominately North climbing back into the San Bernardino Mountains and swings abruptly West a little Northeast of Big Bear City, CA. The trail continues Westerly just North of Big Bear Lake and Lake Arrowhead and eventually passes along the North and West shores of Silverwood Lake. Section C ends where the Western edge of the San Bernardino Mountain range meets the Eastern edge of the San Gabriel Mountain range at Interstate 15 near Cajon Pass.
