Diamond Head State Monument

Diamond Head is a Volcanic Tuff Cone and is a very popular place with the tourists. The parking lot was full so we had to park on the entrance road and hike about 3/4ths of a mile to the park. The tunnel provides access into the Diamond Head Crater. The The 762 foot Diamond Head summit provided excellant views of the crater, Honolulu and the surrounding area.
