Kennecott Mine

These are a collection of pictures taken at the Kennecott Mines National Historic Landmark. The mine operated from 1911-1938. During that period, there were about 600 workers in the mine and town. In total, about $200 Million dollars of copper and silver were mined from this site. In 1998, the National Park Service aquired many of the buildings and land to preserve this site.
